Led the design and development of a novel thrust-vectoring quadcopter, managing a multidisciplinary team through concept, design, integration, and validation. Engineered a 3-DoF gear-actuated propulsion system enabling independent control of thrust direction and magnitude, and optimized structural components to reduce weight while maintaining performance. Collaborated with electrical and software teams to develop and validate custom flight control architecture using Software-in-the-Loop (SIL), ensuring system stability and performance prior to physical testing. Drove system-level integration and testing, focusing on reliability, efficiency, and real-world performance.

Mechanical Design Engineer

Designed, validated, and deployed mechanical and electro-mechanical systems for robotic platforms, supporting both new product development and field reliability improvements. Led development of custom hardware solutions, including a RoHS/REACH-compliant jackscrew system deployed across 300+ units, and multiple test systems to simulate real-world loading and failure conditions. Engineered validation frameworks including flywheel-based load simulation, drop testing, and torsional failure fixtures to identify and mitigate critical failure modes. Developed Python-based automation tools that eliminated 200+ manual testing steps per cycle, enabling parallel testing and improving data consistency. Collaborated with cross-functional teams and external clients to resolve performance issues and improve system reliability in production environments.

New Product Development Engineer

Supported development and validation of a medical device through hands-on engineering, testing, and cross-functional collaboration. Designed and built a full-scale catheterization simulation system integrating mechanical, sensing, and software components to replicate real clinical conditions for product validation and demonstration. Conducted FDA-compliant validation testing, including chemical exposure and fatigue testing of cable assemblies, and performed statistical analysis to evaluate reliability across manufacturing lots. Collaborated with electrical, manufacturing, and marketing teams to deliver production-ready systems and validation data supporting successful product release.

Led mechanical design efforts for scaling MXene material production systems, including structural design, hardware selection, and system integration for batch processing up to 1 kg.
